Seniors can get a discount on RE taxes in Las Vegas
These programs were designed to help out the seniors of Las Vegas, by making the real estate taxes more affordable.
From the county’s site.
“Nevada offers a Senior Citizen Tax Assistance/Rental Rebate program to persons 62 years of age or older whose annual household income was $28,058 (plus or minus an adjustment based on the Consumer Price Index) or less during the preceding calendar year. The total income amount will be adjusted each year by the State of Nevada, Department of Taxation.”
